Managed Crew Service
Under the crew management service, crew is facilitated as an integral part of a technical management contract or under a comprehensive crew management contract. In this case, we would be fully responsible for all matters concerned with the vessel crewing.

Contract Crew Service
Crew support services best suits the purpose of those customers, who maintain a marine personnel department within their organization. We supply full or part complement, and customize our service offerings to meet the specific requirements of a crewing contract agreement.

Global Marine provides highly qualified and competent Indian crews for all types of vessels. We recognize the vital importance and contribution of quality personnel to organizations, both at sea and ashore. Crewmembers are personally selected and prospective applicants carefully screened to verify their experience, competence, fitness and comprehension of English prior to enlistment.

In consultation with the Ship-owners / Managers / Operators, the designated Fleet Personnel selects and engages the command and crew of each vessel. There is strict adherence to internal Quality Standards & Company Policy, full compliance with IMO, STCW and ISO requirements, and the manning stipulations of the vessel and her registry. A policy of selective rehire, together with continuous upgrade training and performance appraisal, guarantees quality manpower, proficiency and safety on board.

We are amidst the leading crewing companies of India, providing well-educated, highly qualified and experienced seafarers. Our database contains over 3,500 screened seafarers. All our seafarers are holders of certificates in compliance with IMO, STCW'95 and D.G. Shipping, regulations and requirements. Everyone is fully familiarized with the ISM Code, and well versed with Maritime English; they have to pass medical examination (including drug-alcohol tests).

We have stringent company polices, wherein each candidates undergoes three evaluators through which, we asses their performance, previous company records, attitude, work experience, future status, briefing for particular job, Company, Vessel, and in case of cook again need to undergo our inbuilt trade test. After this entire evaluation scenario, only selected candidates are packed for job in our principals vessels.

Crew Training
At Global Marine, we acknowledge the emergence of iterative crew training for effective ship management. Our dedicated team of training instructors conduct and manage vocational programmes, in order to maintain the level of superiority in skills through on-board training, contemporary domain knowledge and technology tutorials. Our fully qualified crew, in turn, adds tangible value to our clients through superior ship management practices.

Trainee
At Global Marine, the cadets and ratings are trained onboard vessels to foster a "hands on" approach to learning. Mandatory training is also provided through an association of training institutes, which provide a comprehensive scenario based curriculum. This enables us to develop crew teams that are capable of managing a diversified fleet.

Onboard Training
Planned training is carried out on-board the vessels, in order to provide crew members with an accurate understanding of information technology systems, organizational & management skills, and to create a knowledge base on safety procedures. Furthermore, pre-refresher insights into STCW courses are carried out during audits and inspections

Shore Based Training
Our shore-based training is similar to that of on-board training but is usually intended for crew who are to join onboard. Apart from these, training is also carried out in association with training institutes, which entail various training courses.

Customized Training
We offer customized training option, which is designed to meet the specific requirements of our clients. Training courses are tailor-made & in accordance with various organizations and institutions.

Since crew cost nowadays have gone up to 30% of any vessel's running expense, the possibility of reducing this cost sounds could be very profitable. But succeeding in this task is not easy. Our Expertise
We have gained expertise in Managing Tankers, at present we are managing 12 Tanker including 4 VLCC for our different principles, all chartering to major oil companies of the world. Our Offshore department is capable of catering to major requirement for personnel onshore & offshore.
